Dennis Nash - President
Mr. Nash brings extensive experience in building high-tech and professional services companies, including Motient (formerly American Mobile Satellite), DIGEX, USinternetworking, and Roundarch. Prior to joining Control Station, Mr. Nash was Director of Alliances at Roundarch where he was responsible for architecting strategies that generated indirect sales and expanded the value proposition of the Company's service offerings. While at USinternetworking, he managed partnerships with leading eCommerce software companies and generated over $80 million in channel sales. Mr. Nash holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Connecticut .
Douglas Cooper – Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Cooper founded Control Station in 1998 and developed the Company's core software product. In addition to his role with the Company, Dr. Cooper is full professor and head of the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Connecticut . He has held research positions with both Arthur D. Little and Chevron, and is a recognized specialist in the fields of advanced process modeling, monitoring and control; intelligent technologies and adaptive process control; and software tools for process control system analysis, tuning, and training. Dr. Cooper received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; a MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan; and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
Robert Rice – Director of Solutions Engineering
Dr. Rice holds primary responsibility for training and product-development, including software development, deployment, and support. He led development of Control Station's OPC capabilities recently released as part of Version 4.0. Dr. Rice has published extensively on topics associated with automatic process control, including non-self-regulating processes and model predictive control. Prior to joining Control Station, Dr. Rice held engineering and technical positions with PPG Industries and The Walt Disney Company. Dr. Rice received his BS in Chemical Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic and State University and both his MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
