National Account Manager
Control Station, Inc. seeks National Account
Managers to grow the Company’s sales within a portfolio of
vertical markets. Control Station’s products and services
support the Process Control diagnostic and optimization
needs of leading manufacturers. The Company’s software
technologies have won multiple awards for excellence and
ease-of-use. Current customers include Anheuser-Busch,
Chevron, Eli Lilly, Honeywell, Lafarge, and US Steel. Target
vertical markets include:

Chemicals, Oil & Gas, and Power & Utilities
▪
Cement & Brick, and Metals
▪
Food & Beverage, and Biotech & Pharma
▪
Others
Candidates for the National Account
Manager positions must possess a proven track record of
accomplishment in consultative sales. The Company sells to
Fortune 2,000 companies that typically maintain global
operations and employ could benefit from modern technology
and/or techniques. As such, the associated sales cycle is
typically 3-9 months. A minimum of 2 years experience in
direct sales to manufacturing and/or engineering companies
is required.
The position will be located at the
Company’s headquarters in Tolland, Connecticut and will
report to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities
▪
Prospect, sell and close new business at multiple levels
within both existing and prospective customers.
▪
Manage monthly and quarterly sales cycles to meet associated
sales targets.
▪
Coordinate and host web-based technical reviews of the
Company’s products and services.
▪
Maintain accurate and actionable notes within the Company’s
Sales Force Management database.
▪
Represent the company at trade shows and association
meetings as necessary.
▪
Meet with key clients in support of the development and
maintenance of key account relationships.
▪
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume,
potential sales, and areas of proposed client base
expansion.
▪ Other
duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
▪
Bachelors’ degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or
university.
▪ 2+
years of sales and/or sales management experience.
▪ Strong
verbal and written communication skills.
▪ Strong
computer skills, including Sales Force Management tools,
PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
▪ Ability
to travel as required by this position.
