Brett Beauregard

Instructor and Director, Product Development
Brett brings valuable and hands-on experience to both the classroom and Control Station's Research & Development initiatives. His efforts in advancing the Company's LOOP-PRO Product Suite were recognized with the receipt of Control Engineering's 2007 Engineer's Choice Award. Brett has also led the development of a portable tuning device that leverages light-weight PDA technology for the analysis and optimization of stand-alone PLCs. Brett is a recognized specialist in the fields of PLC and SCADA programming, process modeling, and adaptive process control. His industrial experience includes process engineering positions with CUNO, a subsidiary of 3M Corporation (Stafford Springs, CT).
Brett is a highly regarded practitioner, innovator, and instructor. Among his recent accomplishments, Brett was the of the Company's Non-Steady State Modeling Innovation - a patent-pending capability that eliminates the need for steady-state when tuning PID controllers. He was also recognized by Control Engineering Magazine with their annual "Engineers Under 40" award.
Brett received a BS in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Process Control from the University of Connecticut. He is fluent in Spanish.
