Control Station Expands with Establishment of Asian Presence

Asian Subsidiary Enhances Support Provided to the Company's Multinational Customers

Tolland, CT - September 17, 2009 - Control Station today announced the successful registration of its Asian subsidiary, Control Station Sdn. Bhd. The Malaysia-based subsidiary enables the Company to enhance the support provided to its growing base of multinational customers and to broaden the adoption of the LOOP-PRO Product Suite. LOOP-PRO incorporates patent-pending process modeling capabilities that eliminate the need for steady-state operation while tuning PID controllers. LOOP-PRO has become the standard PID diagnostic and optimization technology used by leading manufacturers across the process industries.

Fortified with a formal presence in Asia, the Company now offers more comprehensive product delivery and support services to process manufacturers. This capability is particularly relevant as the effects of the recession place increased strain on companies around the globe. As the only tuning software equipped with Control Station' Non-Steady State Modeling Innovation, LOOP-PRO offers unique economic benefits to manufacturers that are struggling to optimize both controller performance and plant profitability. Demand for LOOP-PRO outside of North America has increased dramatically since Control Station's distinctive Non-Steady State Modeling Innovation was introduced in June 2008.

"Control Station has made clear its commitment to global manufacturing and multinational producers in particular," shared Barry Martin, Principal of Osprey Engineering and Director of Control Station Sdn. Bhd. "The Company has steadily built a world-class portfolio of customers, and its presence in Asia will allow delivery of services that are to be expected of a best-in-class technology company."

Control Station Sdn. Bhd. is led by Mr. Martin, a process control practitioner with 17 years of experience in the Asia region. Mr. Martin is the founder and Principal of Osprey Engineering, a process control solutions company and leading distributor of the LOOP-PRO Product Suite. Osprey Engineering has successfully assisted major clients to improve their process performance with Control Station's software tools including Lucite International, Petronas, Shell, and Titan Chemical. The new subsidiary now provides a hub for sustaining existing and new customers with full technical support.

"The establishment of our Asian presence is timely," commented Dennis Nash, Control Station's President. "The need for innovative and easy-to-use technologies is more critical than ever in the manufacturing sector both here in the United States and elsewhere in the world."

Control Station continues to invest heavily in product innovation and to expand distribution of its process control solutions. The Company recently announced a reseller agreement with Yokogawa Corporation of America, the fastest growing vendor of distributed control systems. Other strategic distribution agreements have been formalized that will enable Control Station to better serve the automation market as it expands globally.
